Artist Statement

I create art as a meditation on imperfection—the cracks, shifts, and fragments that quietly guide us toward happiness. Art, to me, is both universal and intimate: it exists in the open, yet its meaning lies within the viewer. It is a puzzle still unfolding, a language of possibility in a world rich with opportunity. Through it, we recognize ourselves—unexpectedly, beautifully.

I lose myself with my mosaic as I compose intricate pathways of color and texture that invite the viewer to move closer, to linger, to discover.

I work with natural and reclaimed materials—stone, marble, pebbles, gold, shells, recycled elements, china, and smalti—honoring their histories while guiding them into new conversations. Piece by piece, placed deliberately beside the next, I build the surface while continually stepping back, squinting to see the whole emerge from its parts. The process is both demanding and meditative. It requires patience, intuition, and trust in the unfolding composition. When a work is complete, I feel the quiet satisfaction and love —and almost immediately, the pull to begin again.

Each large-scale installation is thoughtfully orchestrated in dialogue with my clients’ vision and style. Together, we transform space into story, weaving personal narrative with material and light. In the end, my work is an invitation: to look closer, to embrace imperfection, and to find beauty in the assembled fragments of our lives.
